Tim Olson • Exhibition

Tim Olson, a native of Marathon, Iowa, brings a rich background in photography and painting to this exhibit. His artistic education spans Bemidji State University, the University of Iowa, and Loras College, where he honed his skills across multiple disciplines. With a career beginning in Chicago’s photography studios as a printer and technician, Tim has developed a multifaceted approach to visual art that includes photographs, paintings, prints, and stained glass. His works have been widely exhibited across the United States, with notable recent showings at the La Luz de Jesus Gallery in Los Angeles and the Sioux City Art Center. His talent has also been recognized in prestigious publications, such as New American Paintings (Issues #161 and #143), and he was named an Iowa Artist Fellow in 2022. Tim currently resides in Dubuque with his wife and two children, where he continues to explore new avenues in art.
