For more than four decades, Mario “Zore” Gonzalez has been a pioneering force in the evolution of graffiti and urban contemporary art. Raised in Chicago, Gonzalez developed his visual language from the city’s streets, murals, rail yards, and neighborhoods before earning a full scholarship to the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. His work merges graffiti, abstraction, xpressionism, and experimental techniques into richly layered paintings that pulse with rhythm and energy.
